3. Intensive reading:
Read the text for a third time and make a table about their names and the answers to these three questions: What does he/she like? What does he/she want to be? Where is he/she going to work?
【設計意圖】通過skimming快速了解和把握文章主旨大意,訓練學生快速閱讀,獲取文本大意的能力。通過scanning回答問題和判斷對錯的活動,訓練學生快速閱讀文本并查找關鍵信息的能力。通過intensive reading制作表格將文章內(nèi)容進行完整清晰地展示,獲取細節(jié)信息的同時整體感知文本內(nèi)容。
Step 4. Post-reading
Two students in a group and talk about some information about their partner including what his/her name is, what he/she likes, what he/she wants to be and where he/she is going to work. Then the teacher asks students to write them down and chooses some students to share with others.
【設計意圖】仿照文本討論同伴的相關信息并寫下來,能夠加深學生對文本的理解并訓練初步寫作的能力,提升學生的綜合語言運用能力。
Step 5. Summary
Students summarize what they have learned in this class, and the teacher makes some supplements timely, and tells them to respect different jobs to achieve the cultural awareness objective.
【設計意圖】學生總結課堂所學,教師適時補充,幫助學生鞏固知識并升華文化意識目標。
Step 6. Homework
Make a survey of seven schoolmates about what they like and what they want to be and where they are going to work. And choose some students to report the result next class.
【設計意圖】通過開放性的作業(yè),達到了鞏固和練習新知識的效果。
